Atlas Web Technologies' Coated Glass Facers (CGF) are used throughout the world in the commercial and residential building industries, both as a component to a product and as a finished product. Coated Glass Facers can be found in products intended for interior and exterior gypsum board facers, foam panel facers, recover board facers, fire resistant slip sheets, textiles, ceiling tiles, underlayments and more.
Atlas Web Technologies can provide solutions in several markets outside of the building industry. Our paper coatings department uses paper converters to create coated paper products to serve a variety of needs. You might be surprised to learn of some of the markets we service, some of the products within those markets you see every day. Some of these specialty products include automotive headliners, table pad component, expansion joint component, and lamination and packaging accessories, just to name a few.
Atlas Web Technologies' multiple manufacturing sites supply 100% recycled products for the commercial and residential building industries in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Europe. We create facers for the insulation panels industry for use in maintaining energy efficiency in commercial and residential buildings. Atlas Web Technologies also produces many different types of dry felt (roofing felts) largely used in the residential building industry.
WebTech® coated substrates can be found in many different applications including: glass fiber underlayments, lamination, sheathing, slipsheets, and floorings.
The specialty coatings that WebTech uses can give materials increased attributes that will allow it serve additional functions. With these specialty coatings, a product may be used as water repellents, fire/flame retardants, or show increased uplift resistance, dimensional stability, and flexural strength.
The majority of our Coated Products will ultimately be used in the commercial building and residential building industries. Some coated construction materials include: insulation board, house wraps, wall coverings, foil faced insulation, roofing membranes, HVAC media, slip sheets, tile backers (used in walls, countertops, and flooring), and insulation products. WEBTECH® designs and manufactures products that will usually be used in conjunction with other components to make the end product even better. Some of the purposes these end products will serve include thermal efficiency, fire resistance, water proofing, and antimicrobial mold and mildew growth inhibition as well as others.
WEBTECH® provides components used in the manufacturing of packaging components like angle boards and big bags which increase stability and protection of a packaged product.
WEBTECH® provides components used in the manufacturing of various automotive parts, like automotive headliners and RV fabric.
WEBTECH® provides components used to manufacture table pads that help to protect fine dining room tables and other furniture.
