Glass Reinforced Facer (GRF)

GRF is constructed of 100% recycled post consumer and post industrial fiber. It is chemically modified and bonded such that the resultant mat improves final product performance. While GRF is a well known component in construction materials, such as underlayments and rigid board insulation products, it can also provide numerous benefits to products outside of the construction arena.

Atlas Web Technologies' multiple manufacturing sites supply 100% recycled products for the commercial and residential building industries in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Europe. We create facers for the insulation panels industry for use in maintaining energy efficiency in commercial and residential buildings. Atlas Web Technologies also produces many different types of dry felt (roofing felts) largely used in the residential building industry.

Attributes of WebTech® Specialty Coatings

The specialty coatings that WebTech uses can give materials increased attributes that will allow it serve additional functions. These attributes may allow products to be used as fire/flame retardants, water repellents, or show increased dimensional stability, flexural strength, and uplift resistance.

Products for the Building/Roofing Industry

The majority of our WEBTECH® products will ultimately be used in the commercial building and residential building industries. Some coated construction materials include: foil faced insulation, house wraps, HVAC media, insulation board, insulation products, roofing membranes, slipsheets, tile backers (used in walls, countertops, and flooring), and wall coverings. WEBTECH® designs and manufactures products that will usually be used in conjunction with other components to make the end product even better. Some of the purposes these end products will serve include thermal efficiency, water proofing, fire resistance, and antimicrobial mold and mildew growth inhibition.

WEBTECH® manufactures components used in the creation of packaging components like angle boards and big bags which increase stability and protection of a packaged product.
